More workshops with Gerry Turvey (see below). Getting more adventurous and doing multiple-pencil drawings along 20ft long rolls of paper – enormously good fun. Sometimes the dancers would come near and start responding to the drawings and me moving across the room as I frantically drew away – scope for developing that. These are some of the single drawings. Have to see how to develop these.
Lynette, did the previous comment get to you… I lost it and
can’t find it in my machine ????
Lynette, have you received a previous comment… I’ve
lost it in my machine… can’t understand what is going wrong !
Hi Ho Lynette, got your news about the Saltaire satisfaction.
So the installation was wierd – can’t believe it… your kidding.
Loved your drawings; the multi pencil meanderings from
Manchester look great. They catch the sense of having
followed the twists, the turns, the Turveys and the tutuish
terpsichorean twiddl… … oh, Lynette, I do go on. The use
of that multi pencil approach to recording the dancers 3D
move through space works a treat. Can hardly wait to be with
you at the S & A Burton gallery on 23rd Oct… hopefully, I
have fingers crossed. Giggled at the thought of you as you
drew away whilst drawing away when dancers closed in on
you, and responded to your drawn images… 20ft rolls of
paper, eh… I’m still at the back of an envelope stuff. Keep
up the good work, brill girl, brill. We are looking forward to
our next get together
